PICTURE PERFECT: 9-11-2012 SENTIMENTAL SHOTS
I'm setting up my blogspot site these days and it wouldn't be my virtual home if I couldn't take HIM (my soulmate I lost 34 months ago) with me.
So, I went through my pictures looking for symbolical ones... pictures that suggest more than they show and I thought I could do something with this one... That was before the theme was published...
I don't know how you see the picture on your screen, sometimes I see him walking towards the light and sometimes I see him coming towards me. In reality, he was looking at me with his camera in his hands...

To me looking the other way toward the light but again toward you - lol. Beautiful textured sky! I like the idea of this take on the theme!! Clever I think. I have subscribed to your site I think!! If not I will.

Such a lovely memory. I love this photograph, you have used it once before I remember. A lot of ways this could be interpreted. So very sorry for your loss. Today is just tears and more tears with this theme. *sniff* Hugs you Kia.
ReplyDeleteHi Kia! Before I read your words, I thought he was standing there, enjoying the view, taking it in. But then it was you he was looking at. What a good memory it must be!
ReplyDeleteDear one, I'm so sorry for your loss ...I didn't know. This is a very beautiful photo and a touching tribute to your loved one.

No matter how this photo looks like, he lives within you.
ReplyDeleteVery touching post.
Thanks for this visit.
I see what you mean.....depending how you look at the photo, you can see him in either direction. But the most important thing is how you see him, in your memory and in your heart.

I can't say it better than Mitchy did here. It's hard to type my own thoughts through the tears. Beautiful and so glad you have the memories and the photos to preserve them. I have some of those thanks to a camera always next to me or in my hands....and that is thanks to PPF or I would never have known how much I love photography and even more the people I have met here. Thank you for sharing a treasured memory today and thank you for keeping Picture Perfect as a part of your life as we make this transition.
